RE: Help me pick - Bar Harbor

We stayed at the KOA last September. We had a great spot looking out over the bay. This was a great campground, clean and very friendly staff. There is a person who deliveries pies every night to the campground, which I thought was pretty cool..Enjoy your stay.

RE: Flletwood's folding trailer division purchase finalized

Investments groups buying companies do not mean they want the company to succeed. It is usually the opposite. Look at what the Apollo goups did to Linen's and Things. They bought a company that had no debt and in two years have now filed for Bankruptcy. The same happened to Frank Nursery...It is usually about the real estate and not the company.

RE: Cape Hatteras and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina

Oceans waves is a great campground. Clean and trees. The KOA has no trees and you sit in the sun. My wife and I stayed at ocean waves last april and had a great week there. We even met some campers at ocean waves who live 10 miles from our home while we were there...lol. No matter where you go, you aren't very far from home. Enjoy the outer banks, we did....

RE: Grey Water Question

Here's what I did on my PUP...It make the sink drain just like home...With out it, it took a long time for the sink to drain without the vent. PVC plastic was cheap and easy to assemble. http://outdoors.webshots.com/photo/2309981730069108690rwPoDR?vhost=outdoors Good Luck.

Planning Trip to Erie, PA...any suggestions

Has anyone stayed at Family Affair Campground? Any suggestions on campgrounds in the area that are clean and family orientated? Any suggestions on sight seeing in the area also are needed. Thanks, Al

RE: Williamsburg, VA. Information

We stayed at the KOA and it was very nice. Make sure you visit the Maritime Museum in Newport News, they have the Monitor (from the civil war) there and a new reconstructed full size model. Our whole family enjoyed the tours they give, small groups and lots of fun. Have a great time.
